The Porch and all the youth who participated in Urban Hands thank the volunteers who helped to provide food, coordinate rides, and give their time. Volunteers’ service and prayers were greatly appreciated. The youth report that “We had an amazing week before the Lord!! He is Holy and worthy of our praise!”

In partnership with Grace DC, WCF is hosting a Vacation Bible School for children ages 2-13 from Monday-Friday, July 26-30, at WCF from 5:30 to 8 pm. Urban Hands, scheduled for July 11-16 at WCF, needs dozens of volunteers to make this ministry event a success. Opportunities include meal set-up and preparation, daytime service leaders, game facilitators and overnight supervisors. More information and a sign-up sheet is in the narthex.
