Children’s Church, 10:00am-11:15pm

Children in nursery are welcome to come upstairs at any time. Children ages 2-5th grade join the congregation in a time of corporate praise and singing, then they are dismissed to their classes.

Nursery (under 2): Third Floor, Room 300

2-5 year olds: Hands On Curriculum-Yellow Level, Third Floor Room 301
Spend time with the 2′s-5′s at WCF and you will certainly come away energized! We dance, color, sing, listen, play, smell, and even taste our way through Sunday mornings, using the popular ‘Hands On’ Bible curriculum to explore stories and concepts from the Bible. Our emphasis is on basic familiarity with God as Father and as Son. We also introduce the children to the Bible and its main characters. Come join uswe always welcome new friends!

1st through 5th grades: Kid’s Connection Curriculum, Basement, Room 002
1st-5th grades use the Kid’s Connection curriculum from Faith Alive Resources, and this curriculum is specifically designed for multi-age worship and learning. After the central theme is presented each week, there is room to divide into smaller groups to delve into the theme at age appropriate levels. In the 2010-11 school year, our focus is on the New Testament.

Throughout the year, we plan to have opportunities for the children to participate in several service projects and to participate in the main worship service through dance, drama, and singing.

Children in this class will have the opportunity both to play and to hear Bible stories from the “Hands On” Bible curriculum.

K through 5th grades: Gospel Light Curriculum, Agents in Action, Basement Room 002
The multi-age curriculum used in WCF’s K-5th grade Sunday school class offers kids the thrill of accomplishing daily missions for God. Children develop an understanding of how to live as God’s disciples as they meet the challenges and choices they face in today’s world. Daily missions will challenge kids to: Serve unselfishly, Make peace, Be honest, Say no to temptation, and more!
