WCF Youth

Washington Community Fellowship has partnered with Christ Our Shepherd Church (COSC) to provide a youth program with Sunday morning Sunday school classes and monthly activities. This group consists of approximately thirty young people from the surrounding areas of DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Youth Activities

Sunday school is offered every Sunday, except the second Sunday of the month, for junior high (grades 6-8) and senior high (grades 9-12) youth. Each class offers a mix of Bible study and discussions of issues facing youth today. Sunday school meets from 11:15 until 12:15 in the basement.

Once a month we provide an activity for both junior and senior high youth to help build relationships and have fun. Activities range from pizza parties or lock-ins at the church to bowling or other outings. Check the church calendar page for upcoming youth activities. An annual weekend Spiritual Life Retreat occurs each February.

Youth who are interested in being involved with urban youth ministry may be interested in attending The Porch. This group of teens from the surrounding area meets weekly at WCF for worship, teaching and Bible study. The Porch is directed by Christina Fowler, former WCF youth minister.
