Rev. Tiffany Brooks was born and raised in Queens, NY and completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland: College Park. She then went on to complete and receive her Master of Education degree in education policy, curriculum and instruction from American University. She completed her Master of Divinity degree at Wesley Theological Seminary and is currently serving as the Minister to Young Adults at Reid Temple AMEC. When she is not serving in the church space, she is developing curriculums for different nonprofit education organizations and school spaces, engaging in food justice work, leading various initiatives with a variety of church and social justice leaders, consulting with education innovators and working professionally at WAMU, the DMV's local NPR radio station.
On Sunday Jan 16, she will be preaching on "Rest in the Delay", drawing from Hebrews 4:1-11 with an emphasis on verses 8-11.
