Missions
Washington Community Fellowship provides missions support to people in relationship with the church and affiliated with a sending organization, with priority to members, and conducts outreach activities in its neighborhood and the DC metro area. WCF may support other organizations, individuals, and activities with priority for:
- Former connections to WCF
- Unreached communities
- Those serving the poor
- Training and development of indigenous leaders
- A focus on evangelism and social justice

Domestic Missionaries and Ministries
Capitol Hill Group Ministry
CHGM is an interfaith coalition of congregations and concerned individuals united to serve the spiritual and social needs of the Capitol Hill community, Ward 6 and beyond. CHGM serves low-income households and homeless families from across the District of Columbia.
Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center
This ministry offers compassionate support and assistance to anyone facing a pregnancy or experiencing post-abortion stress. The center offers free pregnancy tests, confidential support, childbirth and parenting classes, maternity and baby clothing and supplies, and post-abortion support.
Coalition for Christian Outreach
Sandie Starr Everhart
The CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) “is a campus ministry that partners with churches, colleges and organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life.” Sandie reaches out to student athletes at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Allegheny College.
Cornerstone School
Cornerstone is a private, Christian school, which provides a Christ-centered, nurturing and academically rigorous education for the young people of Washington, D.C. The school began in 1997 with support from WCF and was located within the church building for ten years. WCF supports Cornerstone by providing a full scholarship for one student.
Intervarsity Christian Fellowship
Bethany Blankespoor
Intervarsity Christian Fellowship is a campus mission serving college and university students and faculty nationwide. Bethany works with undergraduate students at George Washington University.
Navigators
David and June Smith
David and June work with volunteer campus leaders in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama to recruit, start, resource and coach these campus ministries. This ministry focus is called NavFusion.
The Porch
The Porch is a multi-church youth ministry created through WCF with the support of Care Company. Current participating churches include WCF, Christ Our Shepherd, Church of the Resurrection, and Faith Temple Church. WCF supports The Porch financially and through in-kind rent for its meeting space.
Young Life Capernaum
Pam Harmon
Young Life Capernaum is a ministry that offers teens with disabilities a relationship with friends and a relationship with Jesus. WCF supports Pam, Director of Operations and Eastern Coordinator for Young Life Capernaum.
International Missionaries and Ministries
Gospel for Asia
Gospel for Asia (GFA) trains and sends native missionaries into the most unreached areas of Asia. WCF helps to support three native missionaries through GFA.
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC)
Daryl and Cindy Byler
Daryl and Cindy are MCC Regional Representatives for four countries in the Middle EastIran, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine. They provide pastoral care/support to MCC international staff in those countries. You can read more about their work on their blog: http://cindydarylbyler.wordpress.com.

Randy and Martha have a business outreach and church planting ministry among a Southeast Asian people group.
Susy M.
Susy, with her daughter Zarina, works in India with a team focusing on village visits (building friendships & spreading the Gospel) and teaching literacy to slum children.
Wycliffe Bible Translators
Jason and Liz Parks
Jason and Liz work with SIL International (a Wycliffe Bible Translators partner) in Sign Language Assessment for the Americas Area. They investigate questions about sign language use and status among deaf people with the goal of facilitating partnerships and recommending appropriate strategies for language development projects that will best serve deaf communities.
Jeanne Thum
Jeanne serves as the chief financial officer for Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea.
