Last Sunday, Kristal Graber on behalf of the 2011 Elders announced that they have extended Pastor Del’s call for another three years and he has graciously accepted. Copies of the announcement are in the narthex and it has been emailed to all members and regular attenders.
The Stewardship Commission is pleased to report that through the congregation’s generous giving last year, WCF met expenses for 2011. In fact, we are within $5,000 of the projected offerings of $400,000, which is the same amount approved by the membership for 2012. A final budget statement will be available after the new Diaconate meets.
WCF conducts a review of its life and leadership every three years. Karin Hope (Elder), Ryan Hunt (Deacon), Kristin List (Convener) and Luke Schrock-Hurst (Overseer/Bishop) are coordinating the review, which was initiated at last Sunday’s potluck.
