We live in a time when many of the hardest questions about life, identity, justice, politics, and relationships are often discussed with more heat than wisdom. Christians frequently feel caught between strong opinions, cultural pressures, and past experiences—sometimes including painful ways Scripture has been used or misused.
In this series, we will explore how the library of Scripture forms a people capable of faithful discernment in a complicated world. Rather than asking only, “What does the Bible say about…?” we will ask deeper questions: What assumptions shape how we read Scripture? How has the church historically wrestled with these issues? And what kind of people is the Spirit forming us to become?
As we begin Faithfulness in a Fractured World, we know many of these upcoming topics carry real questions, tensions, and lived experiences:
Sex, Covenant, and the Body • Gender, Attraction, and the Way of Jesus • The Value of Unborn Life • The Value of Human Life in a Violent World • Faithfulness under Empire • Justice, Causes, and Neighbor Love
We’d love to hear from you. What questions are you wrestling with? What feels confusing, challenging, or unresolved? Where have you seen faith and real life collide? Submit your thoughts here.
