In a world shaped by fear, outrage, loneliness, and constant distraction, the letters of John invite us back to the center of the Christian life: the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.
But in Scripture, love is more than sentiment or self-expression. God’s love takes shape—in truth, forgiveness, community, hospitality, courage, and sacrificial care for others. As we abide in Christ together, the church itself becomes a visible expression of God’s love in the world.
This summer, we will explore how the Spirit forms ordinary people into a community that reflects the life and love of Jesus.
