Celebrate April Fools with a bike ride and BBQ in Loudoun County, home to Virginia’s largest network of rural roads.
The plan: take Eastern Market subway to Ashburn, then do the 35 mile ride (route:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41477347) with a stop at Hammerdown BBQ for lunch. Meet at Eastern Market station at 9am or Ashburn station at 10:30.
If you plan to bring kids or would like a shorter ride, you can stop at Old Farm Winery about 7 miles in and we can pick them back up on the way back (or a group can plan to go back together).
Weather permitting. This is a no-drop ride, so we will take the route at a conversational pace with no one left behind!
