Explore Your 2026 Intentions Through Color and Line
Step into the new year with curiosity, creativity, and space to breathe.
Join WCF and Broken Things Art Studio for a guided creative evening designed to help you explore your intentions for 2026 through color, line, and imaginative play. Whether you consider yourself an artist or simply “creative-curious,” this gathering welcomes you exactly as you are.
Creative facilitator Rachel Trego will lead participants through a series of gentle, multimedia exercises that invite reflection, intuition, and discovery. Rather than focusing on outcomes or artistic skill, this experience centers on process—listening inward, responding visually, and allowing meaning to emerge.
All supplies are provided, including watercolors, acrylic paint, pencil crayons, pens, and other mixed media. Come with no pressure to produce anything “good”—just a desire to explore, notice, and create.
This is an evening for slowing down, experimenting freely, and beginning the year with intention, openness, and imagination.

About Broken Things Art Studio
Broken Things Art Studio is a community of creatives who desire to encounter the self, the other, and God through tactile, mixed-media creative practices. In an age of rush, productivity, and digital distraction, we seek to cultivate connection, justice, peace, and healing in our little corner of Washington, DC. Through tiny acts of art as bravery and generosity, we choose to trade a little of the world’s agony for hope, beauty, and grace.
