Although Sundays aren't the only occasion to nurture or explore a relationship with Jesus, we do hope that our time together on Sunday will help you:
• Live a spirituality of formation, not information
• Nurture shared spiritual practices
• Demonstrate humble communal curiosity that enriches our diversity, and
• Spend meaningful time together with others
Through God's gracious work in our faith community, we hope to be formed further into the likeness of Christ for the sake of others. In this effort, our Sundays together involve Fellowship, Teaching and Worship. Learn more below:
Each Sunday begins with time for conversation—and of course, hot coffee and donuts! Join us in the Fellowship Hall lobby at 9am each week this fall.
This fall, adult nurture classes will return to studying N.T. Wright's look at the Gospel of Luke and on alternating Sundays, a study focused on the question "Who is Jesus?" Please join us for refreshments and learning on the second floor!
For younger students, lessons will center on Jesus and how he knows, loves, and heals each one of us. In grades 3-10, each lesson will pair one of the Ten Commandments with a section in the New Testament. Check-in for all children and youth classes is in the Annex entrance off of 9th Street.
Washington Community Fellowship is committed to worship that is incarnational, multidenominational, vibrant, inclusive and participative. This includes the use of liturgy, music, physical space, media, drama and art. On the first, third, and fifth Sundays of the month, we share in communion together.
Our worship service is streamed online at wcfchurch.org/live.
