Summer 2022 is quickly approaching and so is WCF's second STEM Summer Camp! Here's how you can get involved:

Our first priority: Finding program staff & praying for staff. We are looking for a Camp Program Coordinator and a Camp Co-Teacher for temporary part-time positions. Know someone who would be a great fit? Please send them to our employment page to get more details and find out how to apply.

STEM Summer Camp Program Coordinator

This position is envisioned to be a temporary part-time position (see job timeline below) and reports to the Senior Pastor.

 Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 
● Develop thematic plans for weeks through curriculum and camp content 
● Develop schedules and program activities 
● Co-create and co-teach lessons and activities with co-teacher 
● Recruiting and marketing for students and volunteers 
● Communicate with parents to ensure understanding of program 
● Obtain parental permissions as necessary 
● Communicate with schools, and community organizations to facilitate student enrollment
● Organize daily snack/lunch for students  
● Design classroom space for students—confirm distancing for students from different homes. 
● Oversee completion of daily heath attestation and temperature checks 
● Provide appropriate PPE for volunteers and students 
● Oversee daily volunteer(s) and students engagement
● Monitor and perform good COVID safety techniques for disease and infection control
● Ensure that space is clean and ready for student arrival; clean at the end of each session 
● Coordinate enrichment sessions for students as schedule allows—i.e. building partnerships with community organizations for educational visits, encouraging community members and church members to lead activities based upon their strengths and interests 
● Plan outdoor breaks and independent activities as needed for students who finish activities early

STEM Summer Camp Program Co-Teacher

This position is envisioned to be a temporary part-time position (see job timeline below) and reports to the Summer Camp Program Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 
● Engage in preparation and daily execution of camps
● Oversee and partner with volunteers to lead activities
● Supervise and support youth 
● Ensure students have adequate supplies for various activities
● Supervise children while they are playing outside or on a playground
● Monitor children on field trips
● Ensure that space is clean and ready for student arrival; clean at end of each session 
● Communicate with parents when necessary
